Take a friend out sailing

On Bank Holiday Monday 5 May the Club's Cadets and Otters each brought down a friend to "have a go" at sailing, and in perfect conditions 30 youngsters got afloat.  Cadet Commodore Michael Pedder and Cadet Vice Commodore Sonny Hart, along with several older members of the Club, spent the day giving everyone a trip or two on the water.  Many had the chance to helm the boat and several had a go at capsizing and righting the boats.  When not on the water most of the youngsters were in it and at the end of the day all the visitors went home with a certificate.

A big thank you to all those that helped, including the ladies in the galley who provided a superb lunch for everyone.
